How to Set Up Last.fm Scrobbling with Spotify and Apple Music circa 2024
It's been over a decade since I last used Last.fm for scrobbling, but I finally decided to set it up again. While much of my media consumption is tracked and available via APIs, my music listening hasn't been—until now.

The official app isn’t well-supported anymore, so it seems the c̶o̶o̶l̶ ̶k̶i̶d̶s̶ old timers are now using Finale, an open-source app that scrobbles everything I play on iOS in the default Music app. To cover the rest of where I listen to music I've also linked my Spotify account to Last.fm to capture what I stream there.
At some point, I'll pull my scrobble data into my journal.
