Hummingbird Fuels
Lisa and Richard are familiar figures in the SF cycling community. I've joined a few group rides where I had the pleasure of meeting them briefly and witnessing their incredible passion, generosity, and unwavering support for fellow athletes.
Today, my wife returned from a Fatcake ride with something exciting: their new 60 for 60 formula carb sports drink! It turns out Lisa and Richard have started a new company called Hummingbird Fuels, set to launch in January 2025. I couldn't be more thrilled for them.

We created this product because we saw a gap in the market. Too many brands creating complicated formulas, celebrating “bro science” and promoting the lie that you need to suffer, to be considered an athlete.

As my wife rode home with the package sticking out of her jersey, a fellow cyclist noticed it and exclaimed, "You’ve got Hummingbird Fuels?! I love Lisa and Richard!" Clearly, we’re not the only ones excited about their launch. Keep an eye out.
